We respect your privacy and handle data in line with Japan's APPI.

What we collect

(1) Email, display name, and saved items when you create an account; (2) your My Shelf watchlist when used without an account (stored in your own browser via localStorage, never sent to our servers); (3) only with your consent where required, analytics (Google Analytics 4) and ad-measurement cookies / an anonymous id. There is no newsletter and we do not collect email addresses for one.

Cookies & consent

Analytics and ad-measurement run according to your region's consent rules. Where consent is required, they stay off until you agree; you can change your choice anytime.

Purpose

To provide the service (e.g. saving your shelf), improve quality, and optimise content and ads.

Third parties

We do not share personal data without consent except as required by law. Analytics uses Google Analytics 4 (IP anonymised). Outbound store links go to third parties whose own policies apply.

Retention & deletion

We delete data when no longer needed. Your My Shelf watchlist never reaches us at all when you use it without an account — it is stored only in your own browser, and clearing your browser's site data for this site deletes it outright, without asking us. For an account, there is no self-serve deletion route on this site yet and we publish no channel to request one through (see Contact below). Until both exist, we hold ourselves to collecting nothing beyond the email, display name and saved items listed above.

Contact

We do not yet publish a contact address for TANA, and we will not point you at one that does not exist: there is no contact page, email address or form on this site, and no mailbox at this domain. Until we publish a working, monitored channel, we cannot honestly claim to be reachable — treat any address presented elsewhere as TANA's as not ours. Publishing that channel is a condition we hold ourselves to before collecting any personal data beyond what is listed above.
